I have Neooffice version 3.0 patch 7. Twice I have tried to download an update. It downloads and then there is no change. I even just gave $25, but no updates!
I am new to a Mac, so maybe I don't know how updates work? My operating system is OS X 10.5.8.

I have two questions for you:
1. You say that "it downloads and then there is no change". After you downloaded the file, did you double-click on the .dmg file that you downloaded? If yes, did a Finder window with a .pkg file in it appear? If yes, did double-clicking on the .pkg file run the NeOffice installer?
2. Did you download the full NeoOffice 3.0.1 installer or just the latest patch? If you have NeoOffice 3.0 Patch 7, you need to download the NeoOffice 3.0.1 full as the latest patch cannot upgrade a NeoOffice 3.0 installation to NeoOffice 3.0.1.
Note: I moved this topic to the NeoOffice Support forum since the question is applicable to all versions of NeoOffice, not just Early Access releases.

Thank you, Patrick. This time the 3.0.1 installment worked. The only reason I can think of for why it didn't work before was that I had my old NeoOffice open. I'm happy now.

I am glad to hear that NeoOffice installed OK. If NeoOffice was still running during your earlier attempts, that would definitely cause any of our installer's to display an error and disallow installation.
