I found a bug: If I export a text document as PDF, the title changes to the PDF. If I then close NeoOffice and start it again, it open the PDF and not the ODT. And the PDF doesn't edit so nicely .
On a related note, this happened with the 'hybrid file' option in the export disabled. Could you refresh my memory on what that does? IIRC, it embeds the NeoOffice document into the PDF so that you can edit it later.

I can reproduce this bug. I will investigate and post a test patch when I have a fix for the bug.
The "Create hybrid file" option does what you assumed it does: per NeoOffice's underlying OpenOffice help "...this setting enables you to export the document as a .pdf file containing two file formats: PDF and ODF." When you check that option and open the .pdf file in NeoOffice, NeoOffice will see the .od* file embedded within the .pdf and open that embedded file in Writer, Calc, etc.
