Hey Patrick,

I found a bug: If I export a text document as PDF, the title changes to the PDF. If I then close NeoOffice and start it again, it open the PDF and not the ODT. And the PDF doesn't edit so nicely Wink.

On a related note, this happened with the 'hybrid file' option in the export disabled. Could you refresh my memory on what that does? IIRC, it embeds the NeoOffice document into the PDF so that you can edit it later.

Best wishes,
Oscar

I can reproduce this bug. I will investigate and post a test patch when I have a fix for the bug.

The "Create hybrid file" option does what you assumed it does: per NeoOffice's underlying OpenOffice help "...this setting enables you to export the document as a .pdf file containing two file formats: PDF and ODF." When you check that option and open the .pdf file in NeoOffice, NeoOffice will see the .od* file embedded within the .pdf and open that embedded file in Writer, Calc, etc.

I think that I have fixed this bug in the following test patches.

Can you install either of the following test patches and tell us if the bug is fixed for you?:

NeoOffice 3.4.1:

NeoOffice 2013.2:

FYI. I have included the fix for this bug in NeoOffice 3.4.1 Patch 3 which can be downloaded from the NeoOffice patch download page.

I have also included the fix for this bug in NeoOffice 2013.4 which is available in Apple's Mac App Store.

FYI. In order to fix several iCloud Drive bugs, I had to change some of the code that I had previously changed to fix this bug.

Can you install one of the following test patches and verify if this bug is still fixed for you?:

NeoOffice 2014.2:
http://nick.neooffice.org/test/NeoOffice-2014.2-Test-1-Intel.dmg

NeoOffice 2014.2 Free Edition:

NeoOffice 3.4.1:

I tried it with NeoOffice 2014.2, and I din't notice any change. The bug seems to be still fixed.

Thanks,
Oscar
