Hi,
my OpenOffice (1.03) has a somewhat strange Problem: The OO- Windows don't have any window-frame around them, so there is no titlebar to move them, no chance to close, minimize or maximize or to resize the window. As you can imagine this is quite disturbing...
In the application itself there is no cursor. Sure, I can write, but without a blinking (or not blinking...) cursor, I just never know *where* I'm going to write...
I use OO1.03 with Apple's X11.app (Beta3) and Mac OS X 10.2.6. Anybody got an idea what went wrong?

OpenOffice.org isn't actually in charge of doing the window frames...that's the job of a program called a "window manager". If you're not seeing the window frames, this means that something's wrong with the window manager. Did you do anything special to install your own window manager?
One way to check if it is a general problem is to fire up another X11 application, such as an xterm (with Apple X11 I believe it's a default entry in the "Applications" menu, named "Terminal"). If I'm right in that it's a problem with quartz-wm, you should experience similar issues with that xterm.
If it is a window manager problem, you may want to re-install Apple X11 being sure to choose to overwrite the X config (when you get to the installer screen with "Customize", click that button, then check the box to write the x config). This was off by default in early beta installers and resulted in X11 installs with no config to launch quartz-wm.
