|
I've started to write a page in the wiki about titles on these forums. For the moment, it's only in French here, because it needs "fixme": I made a table showing the relation between the number of posts and the title.
But there are some gaps in this table. If someone can help me to fill them… Thanks

In the end I decided to translate the page into English.
It will be easier for everyone to help to complete the list.
You can find the English version here

I think the list is complete (please correct me if I'm wrong).
So the last question is, after how many posts do you stop being The Merovingian and become The Trainperson (perhaps Jake or Smokey remember it; otherwise Ed should be able to tell us)? |

Google has results listing Merovingians with 500s, 600s, and 700s (highest I saw was 747) of posts, and Train* with 700s (the lowest I saw was 761), 800s, and 900s of posts.
My guess is 750?
Of course, it also captures Oscar as The Trainman at 1000 posts, so I dunno.
I have a feeling Ed told us the switchovers at one point, but I can't recall....

I recall he did tell us, but I can't be bothered to dig through months of forum postings for this .
As for the 1000 point train man, it might be because my current rank (Anomaly) did not always exist.
Best wishes,

And I've another question: is The Anomaly the higher rank, or is there something after it?
I'm sure that The One knows

I am at 1353 posts and I am still an Anomaly. I think everyone with a higher number of posts has a unique name. I'll let you know when my title changes.
Until then I am quite content to have it be a surprise .

I've updated both pages with a new title I discovered today
Also, I moved the page Titles in Trinity Forums to Titles on Trinity Forums. |

Well, it *is* currently unique, just not in the way you meant

I'm quite sure you are right. Otherwise what else?
I've replaced the two ? with 749/750 in the table.
