Over the last few weeks, we have been busily working on implementing support for OS X Yosemite's new iCloud Drive feature. After much debugging and testing, test patches with iCloud Drive support are now available for OS X Yosemite Beta users.
Important note for users that open and save files on a shared volume: since iCloud Drive files can be accessed from multiple Macs at the same time, significant changes to NeoOffice's native file locking code were required to safely coordinate opening and saving iCloud Drive files. If you open or edit files on a volume that is shared with other NeoOffice or Microsoft Office users, we recommend that you try out the test patches even if you are not using OS X Yosemite Beta.
The following test patches include fixes for all of the known iCloud Drive bugs listed in the Yosemite Upgrade Issues NeoWiki article. The article also includes steps for Yosemite Beta and shared volume users to report any bugs that they might find in NeoOffice:
After more testing of OS X Yosemite's new iCloud Drive feature, we found the following bugs when moving or deleting documents in iCloud Drive or on a shared volume:
When a document in iCloud Drive is open in NeoOffice and that document is moved to the Trash on a different Mac, OS X Yosemite makes the document unsavable. We fixed this bug by displaying a Save As dialog when closing the document so that the user can restore the deleted document.
When a document is moved or renamed while open in NeoOffice, double-clicking on that file in the Finder will open a second window with the same document. We fixed this bug so that only the existing document window is moved to the front like normal.
Fixes for these bugs are in the following test patches.

I found a couple more bugs while testing iCloud Drive over the last few days:
NeoOffice will randomly crash when moving or renaming a document. We fixed this bug by reimplementing parts of our code that detects moving and renaming of documents.
Yosemite clears the "Edited" text in a document's titlebar when moving or renaming a document that has unsaved changes. We fixed this by forcing the document's window to update its modified state immediately after each move or rename.
Fixes for these bugs are in the following test patches.

When a document in iCloud Drive is open in NeoOffice and that document is moved to the Trash on a different Mac, OS X Yosemite makes the document unsavable. In an earlier test patch, we fixed this bug by displaying a Save As dialog when closing the document so that the user can restore the deleted document.
Unfortunately, our earlier fix worked by forcing the document into "read-only mode" when iCloud Drive deleted the document. Read-only mode disables any further editing so the user would have to save the file to reeanble editing. We did not think forcing the document to read-only mode was ideal so we reimplemented our fix.
With our new fix, NeoOffice will display a Save As dialog when saving a deleted document. Before, the Save As dialog would only display when closing the document. With this change, users can continue to edit a document even after it has been deleted by iCloud Drive.
Our new fix is in the following test patches. FYI. I have included the fixes for the iCloud Drive bugs listed in my previous posts in this topic in NeoOffice 3.4.1 Patch 8 which can be downloaded from the NeoOffice 3.4.1 patch download page.
I have also included the iCloud Drive fixes fin NeoOffice 2014.3 which is available in Apple's Mac App Store.
