Help please with formatting tables in text documents. I have searched the Help screens in vain.
How do I set tables to allow cells to spread over a page break? I have documents prepared by others with very long text in each cell (bad formatting I know but I can't get them to stop doing it). If a cell is more than a page length text disappears at the bottom as it goes underneath the footer.

You may want to query the Writer forums at www.oooforum.org. This is something that has frustrated me in OOo 1.0.x and I've not found a solution either.
