No, unfortunately you are not the only one. It takes longer to start up than patch 7, the menus are slower and, most unwelcomely, at times the typing turns very-very slow. This emerged after install of patch 8.
I usually work with long documents which have been bouncing back and forth between me and MS Word users. Files often have changes marked and comments in etc. Lot's of tables as well. However, I could not allocate my typing to any of these. Today i was working with file in sxv format and the problem was the same.
The restart did not change much anything. The typing is OK at times and turns suddenly slow. Then after a while turns OK again just to turn slow again later. It feels just like if some background operation was consuming all the memory. Tried to turn everything off except Neo/J. No change.
