hi! i experience some problems opening/recognizing folders and files with names that contain special characters like the german ä, ö, ü umlaut. i run neooffice 1.1 beta with patch 10 under os x 10.3.8
the folders are displayed als files with no content, i can't even access them to open any files located in them. any solutions? i am completely new to neooffice, actually trying to move from msoffice to neooffice.

Actually, I don't think that this is true on Mac OS X. I have found that file names on all my local disks are UTF8 encoded. Without UTF8 encoding, you wouldn't be able to set Japanese file names when you are using English as your preferred language.
