PostPosted: Wed Jun 08, 2005 3:16 am    Post subject: Field from a MSWORD document

I want to move a longer document form MSWORD to Neo/J.
In the original documents I used fields to number the examples in the text which looked like this:

(1) First Example
(2) Second Example

Trying to get the numbering and the connected formates to work I run in to the following two problems

1.
When I imported the document in Neo/J the fields where also imported as "User Field SEQ (* ARABIC".
They are listed in the dialog box Fields/Varialbes: Type"User Field", Selection "Seq (\*ARABIC".

Now my problem is that the fields no longer work, that is they always keep the number they had in WORD. How can I transform/replace them to/with a numbering field in Neo/J.

2.
The other question concerns the format of the number. I need to have the number of the example in an other font than the following example. Is there a way to asign a font to the field rather than to the whole paragraphe?

Thanks for any help
Kate
