Here is an issue I used to run into all the time, but hadn't seen it recently, until I tried another install of OOo 1.0.3RC2 tonight.
I typically will use the Mac OS X OOo Installer, and choose a New Folder (e.g. "OOo 1.0.3" - note the embedded space) inside /Applications, within which to install OOo.
This is all fine and good, and everything works.
But after using this type of installation, at some point, I get a similarly named folder in /Applications, with URL style %20 escaped chars - e.g. "OOo%201.0.3". This folder contains empty OOo sub-folders, such as program and share.
It doesn't seem to do any harm, but if I remove the folders, they will come back again at some point.
Does anyone know the reason for this behavior, and would you consider it a (minor) bug?

That's bizarre. They're popping up after the install is finished? The only thing I can think of is that perhaps OOo itself is creating them? I know it does use %20 in its URLs for spaces. Perhaps it's trying to create the path to its installation location to write config files...is that directory always empty?

Yes, I'm sure it is OOo and not the Installer doing it. The directories are always empty. It is mildly annoying, and only happens if you have spaces in the install path name. Perhaps it is the difference between use of URLs and full paths in some versions of "~/.sversionrc".
Anyway, it is not a big problem, but was just curious if other people had seen this problem.
