Since I haven't been lurking in this forum I don't know whether it's appropriate, but I thought I'd say Hello. Just downloaded 1.2 Alpha and it's such a huge improvement over the version I had on my old machine that I'm totally psyched. Glad to find this forum too, a quick look at some of the threads gives me confidence you folks will be able to hand-hold me sufficiently to get me up to speed. I'm a dedicated Mac user and have been suffering for want of a decent spreadsheet for my machine, so you can imagine how happy I am right now.  More later,

Ha! I left myself wide open for that one! Thanks for the first Great Laugh* of the day.
*Great Laugh - from the book by Donald Kingsbury, Courtship Rite. The Great Laugh was a way the people had of dealing with the incredible stress of living on a planet where everything could kill you... It works fine for everyday situations too.
