"select all" only selects index text

In every document which has an index (table of contents) inserted, "select all" won't do what it says, but will only select the index or the index title. is it a bug?

i'll have to check on this.. but i _think_ it has to do with your cursor location. if the cursor is in the TOC, then that's what the program thinks you are targeting with 'select all'

i confirmed this behavior on the windows version of OO.o (i did use an imported DOC file, though i don't think that should affect this test).

when i get home, i'll try the same with the mac.
