I don't know how to say this is French, but NeoOffice Calc documents are limited to only 32,000 rows and the error message says that the any rows greater than this number have been ignored during the import of the Excel file.

Here is what I get when I try to import a rather large Excel file.

Does anybody know how to fix it?

Thank in advance

At a guess I'd say its because Excel can handle larger sheets than Neooffice.
The error message says it really: " The maximum number of lines has been exceeded"

If you can split your large spreadsheet across several smaller sheets with fewer rows and columns it should work.

FYI, OOo 2 (and thus Neo 2 Alpha, when it arrives), have a greater row/column limit...I forget how high, but it's closer to the limit in "recent" Excel versions.

65530 (64k) or something. The same as existing Excel versions. The forthcoming Excel will alledgedly allow for even larger sheets. But it will be a while before it is released Smile.

Best wishes,
Oscar
