According to the wiki:
Quote: | Effective immediately, NeoOffice/J 1.1 has been discontinued. Due to a serious bug in the Mac OS X Installer (on Mac OS X 10.3.9 or earlier) that can cause the deletion of system files in certain uncommon situations, NeoOffice/J 1.1 has been pulled from the mirror sites and will no longer be available for purchase on CD. |

Thank you doctype. It's a bite frustrating for those like me who want to use it on jaguar...
But ok, I will go for OpenOffice. But if anyone have a link for neo 1.1 ... |

10.0-10.2 were highly buggy versions.
You should really upgrade to something a bit more stable. |

Disagree. Jaguar 10.2 has been quite stable for me. I installed Neo 1.1 on OS X 10.2.5 with no problem, Get Info on Neo icon says Created 6/10/05, Modified 2/4/06.
Lucky, I guess. |

How wonderful for you. Since you haven't personally run into any of the Jaguar bugs they therefore don't exist?
Bottom line, you are TWO versions of the Mac OS behind and you really have no place expecting any new software to be supported for you.
A lot of commercial vendors have already abandoned support for pre-Tiger systems. Luckily for many users, NeoOffice still supports Panther. |

How about a bit more civility here?
Yes, there are serious bugs in Jaguar, and if our guest has not encountered them, so much the bettter for him/her. Still, there is no Neo for 10.2 anymore.. _________________ "What do you think of Western Civilization?"

i have locked this thread. 1.1 is no longer availible do to a bug found in the installer code. there is no need to get up in arms over one's OS choice.
