I have a 20" widescreen monitor, and I like to view longer documents two pages at a time (side by side) on screen. It seems to happen automatically in MS Word, but I can't figure out how to get NeoOffice to do this.

Any ideas? Is it possible?

Thanks for any help!

In MS Word you can edit facing pages in "print preview" mode.
According to this http://documentation.openoffice.org/HOW_TO/word_processing/Word-to-OOo.html this is not possible in OOo, and so I think in NeoOffice (the documentation above is related to OOo 1.x).
This feature was requested for the first time on 2001: see this http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=1598.

If you want to edit two facing pages I can suggest this trick (but not very comfortable):
1. open your file
2. click on window -> new window
3. adjust the two windows so they face two different pages and edit your file
