Well, Aqua Beta will go free on the 29th of August and I suspect during the next week the servers may be experiencing more than usual load. Please be patient if the servers become unresponsive. While they've been hardened to hopefully withstand a /.'ing, the new servers have yet to have their trial by fire.
Please be aware that the servers may go down and logistics may mean we can't respond in less than 24 hours.

I saw Smokey's getting the Press Kit ready. Is there going to be a new Press Release too or is that just for the 2.0 regular release? How much attention do you want on this thing?

We're giving this our full attention at OOoCon (and the Aqua release is the primary reason that Ed and I put in the cash to go to France for this) so feel free to publicize it. Although it is not a final release and there surely are bugs, the number of crashing bugs reported in this EAP (all of which have been fixed) was significantly less than the number reported in the Alpha EAPs so I am pretty confident that this is really solid for a Beta release.
