TUAW also had a post yesterday on the public beta release. Usual ranting about icons and the UI in the comments coming from folks who value eye candy over functionality, working well with stuff the MS Office users inflict on you, or preserving data.
Geez, I haven't seen that much vitriol in quite some time. It's like our getting most of the way to Aqua perfection was challenging their manhood or something....
Between that and the slugging-it-out over the OOo Aqua port, it's been rather unpleasant of late....

Well, given some more of Punto Mac and Daniel's icons and most of that criticism will pipe down. But there is quite a bit of slugging going on. Just do the Zen thing .
