|
The steps to reproduce:
Go to the Edit -> AutoText menu, select an AutoText in the category "My AutoText", click the "AutoText" button, then click "Rename…"
Enter a new name and a shortcut, click OK. Neo crashes.
Can someone confirm that behaviour ?
10.4.8 Intel and PPC Neo AB3 P 12

Jacqueline, I confirm this. Same platforms. Did you try it with OOo 2.0.3 (actually I cannot)?
It seems it's an OOo bug. I have just found tha same problem reported at oooforum.
After that message a bug was filed, but don't know if it's the same...

Thanks Valter.
I can't test with OOo 2.0.3. I just tried with OOo 2.1 and OOo doesn't crash. So, the bug seems fixed in the new version. Good news

I tried this with both Neo AB2.0 Patch 12 and OOo 2.0.3 and can't get either to crash, but then I don't normally use AutoText and only have one item defined under My AutoText.

After some tests I noticed that Neo crashes if the shortcut consists of one letter only. But if you choose for the shortcut two or more letters there is no crash.
Please, can you confirm ?
Thanks

Thanks Roy. But it's OK in OOo 2.1. So let us wait until 2/27
