I am using NeoOffice 2.1 (Patch 1). After export to PDF all my clickable links change their color. In NeoOffice they have a strong blue, which I like. In the PDF the blue is very dark, nearly black. So links are hard to recognize in a black text.

How do I get WYSIWYG here?

The usual suspects (response you will get)

1. It is not a Neo bug but an OO.o (OpenOffice upon which NeoOffice is based) bug so ask them instead

2. If you still think it's a NeoOffice bug then go here:

http://bugzilla.neooffice.org/

3. The Neo developers have bigger fish to fry.

Actually, it may simply be that each PDF reader app (i.e. Preview, Adobe Reader etc.) decides for itself what colour it will use to display links in a PDF doc, unless you specify the colour on a per-link basis, otherwise Neo just exports the link without colour instructions.

Some experiment suggests that NeoOffice uses a particular colour just for display purposes (I think it's the one set in Preferences-NeoOffice-Appearance-Unvisited Links); that link colour is not saved in the PDF doc itself unless you deliberately change the link font colour:

Ctrl-click on a link in your Neo doc and go to Character... in the contextual menu, you can edit the font colour in the Font Effects panel - if you choose a colour other than the default, the chosen colour will not only display in the whole URL, but will also successfully survive print/export as PDF. You'll have to do this for each URL in the doc, though.

Thanks for the thorough explanation yoxi.

Does seem a bit of a hassle depending upon how many links are in a document. Is this the kind of thing a Macro can be set up to handle?

Does changing it just once in the hyperlink style not work?
