Hello all,
I'm a new user to NeoOffice, and find it excellent in many regards, but I have one problem and it might be a showstopper for me. I've tried searching all the forums, but I can't find the answer (although I could have just as easily overlooked it...)
Is there any way to center a document vertically on the page? When I got to Format/Alignment/ the Top, Center, and Bottom choices are greyed out. Almost all of the Word documents I use use this feature in Word (accessed through the Format/Document menu.
I've also noticed that Word documents that rely upon this feature do not display correctly in NeoOffice. Is there a workaround?
I think that you have to insert a frame: Insert > Frame.
In the Type tab in the window that appears, you can choose the Anchor and the horizontal and vertical positions. Then you enter your text into the frame.
The Format > Alignment and Format > Anchor menus are no more grey when the frame is selected.
