When I install NeoOffice 2.1 by clicking the .pkg folder, I get an alias NeoOffice 2.1 folder in the Application Folder. Where is the app itself and how do I move it to the Application folder, where all other apps reside? Thanks for your forthcoming reply.

Welcome to NeoOffice shulman,
When you download NeoOffice 2.1 you should get
1. a .dmg file (Disk Image) - about 139 MB in size.
2. Double click the .dmg file and you will get disk image with NeoOffice.pkg
3. Double click NeoOffice.pkg and you should get an installation dialog - this is what does the installation.
Not sure why you getting an alias in the Application Folder,
I get an NeoOffice application in the Application Folder. All the stuff (except the preferences) are in that "Package". Strange
