I have been a long time user of AppleWorks. Although not always a happy user, I have accumulated many AppleWorks documents. manyof which I will need to duplicate in the future. Can Neoofffice open and read an Appleworks document? Excited about your alternative. AM in the process of downloading it this moment. |

NeoOffice can't read AW documents natively. But AW can export in several file formats that NeoOffice can open.
You will find info on this page in Neowiki.

Also, if it is worth $80 to you to be able to do batch converting of a large number of file, then MacLink Plus from DataViz says that it can handle Appleworks format files and translate them into their MicroSoft Office equivalent. |
