Can you add a 'Later' option to the poll? Smile I'll almost certainly upgrade, but not until I'm sure all the drivers for my bits and pieces are updated first.

Then there is the "I do not play to put Leopard on a PPC"

Why? Is Leopard going to give me problems on a PPC?

Inquiring minds want to know. Wink

You might want to check out the following NeoWiki article that lists some known issues with upgrading to Leopard:

Also be aware that Leopard runs even more background tasks than 10.4. I haven't tried it on slower PPC machines than the Quad yet, but the IT guy at work has been experimenting and thinks that Leopard really wants 1GB of ram to run comfortably with a typical workload. Prior to release Leopard was less stable on PowerPC, but the release version seems to have gotten rid of most of the issues I encountered.

The big thing for PowerPC users to realize is that 10.5 has no support for Classic any longer. If you use any legacy Classic applications, you'll probably want to install 10.5 on a separate partition or drive. To use Classic applications you'll either need to boot back into 10.4 or see if SheepShaver can get up and running as Intel users have had to do for a while.
