Perhaps a problem in the installer
Dialog for the testing if NeoOffice is installed appears before the licence acceptation (and on its window), I don't care of it on my first try and wait, wait… for the drive ready…
I relaunch installer scroll the licence to have the dialog… and no problem _________________ Patrick G4 2x867, 2 Go, 10.4.11...

This part of the installer is entirely Apple's installer code. What I think you are referring to is the installation check dialog. In the Apple installer tool, this dialog does not always appear at the start of the installation but may appear anytime before the "select a volume" panel appears.
