Minor typing question

When you type on neo office after a full stop it should change the next words first letter, to a captital
Does anyone know how i can change this? Or is it to do with the software.

Also when you type 'i' on its own, it should change to upercase but it doesn't

This is really two questions so I'll answer each separate:

1. Capitalize first word in the sentence: select the Tools :: AutoCorrect menu and in the dialog that appears, click on the Options tab, check both checkboxes next to "Capitalize first letter in every sentence", and click the OK button

2. Capitialize the word "I" if typed as "i": AFAIK neither NeoOffice nor its underlying OpenOffice.org do automatic replacement of language specific capitalization within a sentence. Although not ideal, one workaround that you can use is to periodically select the Edit :: Find and Replace menu and in the the dialog that appears, put " i " (without quotes) in the Search field and " I " (without quotes) in the Replace field and press the Replace All button.
