I've been using NeoOffice well over a year now. LOVE IT. Almost time for another donation too.
Don't know how, but the whole app seems to have been trashed.
Can I blame the wife?
More importantly, can I just download 2.2.2 and install again or are there other concerns?
I'm running on a Mac G4 laptop, OS 10.5.whatever.
Please help.

If it is simply that NeoOffice.app was trashed and deleted, then yes you can just download NeoOffice 2.2.2 again and install it. There should be no problem at all. Furthermore, your preferences should be preserved as they are stored elsewhere.
Remember to download and install the latest patch after you have installed NeoOffice too.
Good luck!

Not talking down to anyone so do not take it the wrong way; but is the icon removed from the dock but Neo still in Applications folder? or is it removed from the App folder? If it is still there, just open it from the App folder and move the icon on the dock to where you want. Sorry - you most likely know that; but there are people out there that do not and I too was new to macs --- still am in a way too.
Just thought that that might be the problem. |

Thanks for replying Richard.
I guess my concern actually was about preference files and any other associated files that OS X does such a great job of hiding.
Thanks again, and thank you Trinity, for a terrific forum.
Mark - out. |

FWIW, NeoOffice preference files are located in ~/Library/Preferences. There is the NeoOffice-2.2 folder (and folder for older versions, if they were installed in the past), which contains the same settings as OpenOffice.org preference folders, plus the NeoOffice property list (org.neooffice.NeoOffice.plist). |

You guys are the best!
Wish Apple and Adobe Software had this kind of support.

I have to retract that last statement.
There are some excellent forums for Mac and Adobe users. |
