We installed Leopard on our Power PC. Then installed the latest Neo updates (it had been awhile). But when we tried opening our .sxc spreadsheets, most of the information was missing and the program freezes. And I notice that the spreadsheet files in this newer version is .ods. Since I am in dire need of these .sxc spreadsheet files, I am wondering if you have any advice. On the other hand, our word processing documents .sxw open fine, just not the spreadsheets. Please advise.

Hmm... this should not be. sxc was the native format for older versions of OpenOffice.org and NeoOffice. I still have one sxc file around (a small, simple one) and I had not trouble opening it. (I use Tiger).

First, make sure you have the newest version and patch of NeoOffice (2.2.2 patch 11 as I write this).

If you do, or if updating NeoOffice doesn't fix it, please read the Bugzilla Guide in the wiki and then file a bug in Bugzilla.

Since Neo is hanging, we will need a "sample" from the hang; obtaining one is described in the guide. If you can supply a spreadsheet that is creating the hang, that would be extremely helpful, but obviously in some cases the contents of such documents can not be made publicly available.

Yes, if you can also provide a sample document that would be very helpful. Also, in the file open dialog try choosing "NeoOffice 1.0 Spreadsheet (.sxc)" directly to make sure it isn't a problem with the application trying to match the file format incorrectly.
