hi all,
just installed neooffice 2.3.3 in my ppc 10.3.9 system. the application crashes at start time, after a few bounces of the icon on the dock. there seems to be a java issue --- the console reports:
+ '[' -d /Volumes/NeoOffice-2.2.3-PowerPC/NeoOffice-2.2.3-PowerPC.pkg/Contents/Resources -a -f /Volumes/NeoOffice-2.2.3-PowerPC/NeoOffice-2.2.3-PowerPC.pkg/Contents/Resources/X11filelist.txt -a -s /Volumes/NeoOffice-2.2.3-PowerPC/NeoOffice-2.2.3-PowerPC.pkg/Contents/Resources/X11filelist.txt ']'
+ exit 0

otherwise java is working perfectly. tips on how to proceed are most welcome...
maybe a residual of the installation of some ppc-compiled, though post-10.3, application?
anyway: I have scrapped v10.5 and now NeoOffice seems to work correctly, thanks for the hint! in any case, it may be worth to have some more stringent check of the java version in NeoOffice. I may point out that the version of JDK that was working in the system was 1.4.2 anyway, and that no other java-bound application had experienced similar troubles...
