How to attach files to your post

Patrick has now added the option to attach files when posting to a thread in these forums.

Please note that all attachments are public so do not post any confidential attachments.

When you're composing a new post or replying to one, you'll see below the Post a new topic/Post a Reply section there is now also an Add an Attachment section.

Click on the Browse button to choose the file you want to attach to your post. Then enter any relevant comments about the file in the File Comment section, and then click on Add Attachment. The Add an Attachment box will clear, and your attached file/comments will appear in the Posted Attachments section below; then you can add further file attachments, or complete your post and submit it.

To see what file types/file sizes are permitted, click on the Allowed Extensions and Sizes link in the Add an Attachment section.

Your attachment will appear (like the one below) at the end of your post.

Once you've submitted your post, you can go back and edit the file comment, upload an updated version of the file, or delete the attachment.
