I am finding the Equation Editor tricky to use. Can anyone point me in the direction of a clear guide to creating complex equations? |

I haven't looked into it myself but this chapter from the OOOAuthors.org manuals may be a useful resource for you. _________________ Ray Saunders

That is very helpful - many thanks. It is clear from reading the chapter you mention that it is indeed a bit trickier to build up a complex equation in NeoOfficeJ than using say AppleWorks Equation Editor |

There's also OOoLatexEquation if LaTeX is your cup of tea

If anyone has successfully got OOoLatexEquation to work on Panther, I'd like to hear from them.
I haven't tried because one first has to install ImageMagik and I'm not certain how to intall both packages and get then to work together. |
