Look at the attached file, if you try to print it using both OpenOffice and NeoOffice you get competely different results.
The OpenOffice print is right, the NeoOffice print is missing a lot of elements.
I have later NeoOffice release (3.0 patch2) and also latest OpenOffice (3.1).

I don't know if might help: If you look at the file via Quicklook you view the same bad print that generate neooffice.

Thank you for providing a sample file.

When I printed the file using File :: Print and then selecting the Preview button I see the contents of the table are missing after the checkbox marked D.

I have opened bug 3477 to track this issue.

Although I do not have a fix yet, I have narrowed down where the cause of the bug is: Novell's Go-oo engineers modified the OpenOffice.org 3.0.1 Writer code and those modications are causing unexpected clipping when drawing text and lines during printing or PDF export. In other words, the text and lines are being drawn but they are being clipped out of sight.

I now have to find which of Novell's Go-oo modifications are causing this unexpected clipping and remove those modifications.

I think that I have found and fixed this Go-oo bug and I have posted links to a test patch in my last post in bug 3477.

Can you copy the applicable link in that bug into your web browser to download the patch, install it, and tell us if the bug is fixed for you?

Pluby:

I was experiencing a similar problem, and I just wanted to let you know that patch worked for me, too.
