Word Doc does nto render properly

Hello NeoO 3.0 p2 ... Word docs are not rendering properly. ie the doc I opened today has a yellow font color - when I open the same doc on Win Office it works fine.

It also seems like when I open a Word doc that has changes to be accepted, I get incorrect text when I accept changes. ... these rendering options are making use of this app unacceptable.

I am sorry that NeoOffice does not meet your needs. Unfortunately, NeoOffice is not a direct replacement for Microsoft Office and NeoOffice has only a subset of Microsoft Office's features.

While NeoOffice can import and export many (but not all) Microsoft Office documents, our import and export code is definitely not a complete replacement for Microsoft's import and export code. NeoOffice is a donation supported project run by only two people and is designed for people who don't need perfect rendering of Microsoft Office documents. Implementing perfect rendering of is so far beyond our resources that, instead, we have focussed on providing a low cost alternative for those who don't need the perfect rendering that Microsoft Office provides for its file formats.

Some users like yourself find that they really need their office suite to behave exactly like Microsoft Office in order to do their work. In such cases, we recommend that users stick with Microsoft Office especially if they already have a Microsoft Office license as Microsoft spends thousands of times more money each year on their Microsoft Office product than the donations we receive. That is what you get for the Microsoft Office license fee: the result of the thousands of engineers working on their product.
