Sometime in the next 24 hours, www.neooffice.org will be taken down for an hour or so.
This shutdown is necessary to replace a failed disk. We use mirrored disks on all of our servers so that when one disk fails, there is no data loss and the server keeps running smoothly. However, when a disk fails, it is wise to replace the failed disk as soon as possible so we have asked our data center to do so today.
This site will remain running during the shutdown as it is on a different server than the www.neooffice.org site.

Again, while no one else may appreciate it, I'd like to extend a great thanks to Patrick and Fran for really setting up an amazing IT infrastructure for NeoOffice. Between automatic fail-over RAIDs, redundant servers, etc. it's amazing how we can approach 99%+ uptime even with our already stretched and limited resources. Only an hour of downtime in the last many years? Amazing!! If one of my servers fail I'm lucky if I can get it back up and running in a month
