I think it is useful to know that the little lightbulb window is properly known as the Help Agent - but I think it is also helpful to know that the Help Agent is denoted by the lightbulb window.[/b] |

Thanks, rays! I've always found the term "online help" confusing, and I liked your "built-in help" term better in your first post, but I didn't remember to change it after copying that section from Ed's original help resources post.
I'll make that change, and incorporate James3359's suggestion about explaining that the Help Agent is the lightbulb.

Thanks, James. Your right. I didn't set out to remove the reference to lightbulb as it is more expressive of what the user actually sees on-screen. Mea culpa!
So...
This is also the help that will pop up if you click the little Help Agent that appears from time to time and looks like a little "lightbulb window". The Help Agent offers "QuickHelp" for actions that you've recently performed (or that the app has performed for you). It will try to jump you to a relevant portion of the built-in help. _________________ Ray Saunders

I've posted it as a locked sticky. I can unlock it and edit it if there are changes that should still be made.

Are we unstickying User Guides, other Forums and other help resources... or some other thread, or?
I wasn't quite clear on that part of the conversation.

Thanks for asky, Smokey!
I forgot to mention...I had tried to unsticky it, but apparently it didn't work the first time. I just went back and did it again, and it appears to now be unstickied.

Well done, Lorinda. Let's hope that it provides guidance for some of those who might otherwise use support resources. It's very clear and helpful.
