Well, since I'm in a predominitely Muslim area, I would like to state that the month of Ramadan, and its associated daylight fasting is fast ending. It will be back to normal after the Eid 'feast'. It was a little nice not having to work through traffic in the morning and to working through traffic after sundown.
And all is well...

Eid mubarak!
(Apple's calendar says Eid's not for another three days yet...but then Apple can't predict the appearance of the moon in every location on the planet )

That is very true. Try googling "Ramadan Moon". I picked the first link and found a moon sighting site as a link from that site that states the new moon will not be visible until tonight over most of the world. Should prove interesting for the Moon Sighting Committee (that would be a job that could have a great deal of stress) as they are the one's who determine if the new moon exists and thus the end of Ramadan and the new lunar month.
