I can't stop myself from pointing out that this particular command wasn't particularly well documented (I couldn't find it before it was pointed out...)
However, it is exactly what I needed. Thank you! I will put this tool to good use this evening. |

Okay, yet another version of Office Themer is up. This one hopefully has all it's dependencies included this time.

Soooooooo sweet! Is there a way to get them, even in a pre-pre-alpha release? I love pre-alpha releases! |

Punto Mac made an earlier version of this type of set available for download; I downloaded it but I have no idea what I did with it
Edit: the old set was linked in this post, but the URL there is 404. (Those icons were also predominantly literally from Apple apps, so we couldn't ship them with Neo--you could add them yourself--not sure if this is still the case with this latest version. Still, as mentioned by others, even the Apple icons worked well for prototyping whether a look/icon style could work, and the answer is clearly yes We just need to find someone who can make 12,000 icons in that style!)
Edit2: I found the April iteration of the set, but not the May one from the post linked above. I don't know if the April version will work with Neo2 (or OfficeThemer) or not....

We should wait for some news from PuntoMac.
I know those maybe could not be part of an official release. But maybe, for private use...
No this doesn't mean I like piracy: I own a computer running free software only (that's why I love Neo) and I'm proud of it!
(Ok, ok, maybe my QT 7 Pro is not fully legal, blame on me...) |

I suppose you mean "free as in beer" since neither QuickTime (Pro or not Pro) nor Mac OS X are "Free" software like Neo or OOo ... |

Eheh, I know that but they came with the MBP, and I wouldn't really throw them away for some Ubuntu and VLC... I love those fancy Quartz effects of MacOS X
Everything else, I mean the software I got from the internet, is absolutely free... |

The fact that they came with your MacBook Pro doesn't make them free-er.
"Everything else" could be referred to as "third-party software" ... |

Hi Brett,
I found another. Sorry about that. It gives the error when you select a different icons set. I hope you can find the culprit .
Code: | dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/X11R6/lib/libdpstk.1.dylib
Referenced from: /Applications/Office Themer 0.9.1.2/Office Themer.app/Contents/Resources/Darwin/ImageMagick-6.2.5/bin/identify
Reason: image not found

while executing
"exec $identify -format %wx%h $iconBaseDir/$directory/$tName" |
best wishes,

Looks like the culprit is a lack of X11 on your machine (Xdarwin.) Is that true?
I didn't really remember that it was optional to install X11, and anyone who ever played with the OOo port would already have it. But, that's the trouble with using a well-lived in machine as a test machine.
Looks like Imagemagick uses only a tiny bit of X11, so I might be able to repackage the libraries. But I might have to make X11 a requirement. Especially sucky, because for what we use of Imagemagick, it shouldn't need it. But I'm not going to get into the recompiling ImageMagick business.
Not just yet, anyway...

I would guess that. I used to have X11, but I got a last model iBook few weeks ago and I didn't bother to install it yet . So my system is now one of these virginal ones..
But I figured I would tell you anyway. I'll just go and install X11.
Best wishes,

No, this is good. Can you hold off on an X11 install to see if I can get it working without it? I'll only need a couple of days, and then you could test it for me? |
