Right now there isn't a stable 1.1 version available yet. Kevin, Terry, et. al. are working on a "technology preview" installer for people experienced with OOo installations on unix platforms or who have 103 installed. I'm working on a graphical installer like the one for 103, but that probably won't be up in time 
Can you hang on for a couple of weeks? By then 1.1.1 should be ready for public consumption
