|
I went through all the preferences, but can't seem to find out how to change this. I hate it when NeoOffice changes the formatting of something I'm writing just because I paste something in there. I know I can "paste special" but it's a really clunky and drawn-out process. I'd much rather "paste special" when I want to KEEP formatting. Any tips? |

There is no preference to do this, I'm afraid. But you can easily create a macro for Paste Special - Unformatted, and then assign it to a keystroke. You need to do separate ones for Writer and Calc, because they use different sequences to Paste Special.
I'd post my macros here to save you time, but my mac is a the doctor's at the moment .

I think they're on the forum already, in a previous topic on this subject.

Slightly quicker than passing through the Paste special menu: using the drop down menu attached to the paste icon in the icon bar gives direct access to the relevant choices depending on what is currently held in the clipboard.
Trust this helps. _________________ Ray Saunders
