I just installed openoffice. X11 comes up OK. Once, Start OpenOffice.org enabled me to open an existing txt document. After quitting, it never started again.
Double click Start OpenOffice.org, it asks me to search for Darwin. I don't have Darwin. Click cancel, and Start OpenOffice.org quits.
How do I get away from that Darwin search?
How do I start Openoffice? It doesn't show in X11, Applications, or anywhere else.
How do I select Writer, or spreadsheet, or other elements that are supposed to be there, with a blank sheet?
Does text in X11 always look so ragged, or is there some way to clean it up?

Text in X11 will never look as good as it does in a native app like NeoOffice/J, however. _________________ "[...] whether the duck drinks hot chocolate or coffee is irrelevant." -- ovvldc and sardisson in the NeoWiki
