I want to move pdf files to my ipad to be viewable in ibooks.
Is this something Mobile NeoOffice will let me do?

Thanks.

Unfortunately, our NeoOffice Mobile app for the iPhone and iPad is not able to send any of the PDF files to Apple's iBook app. This is a feature we are investigating but right now when you viewing a file in your NeoOffice Mobile account on your iPhone or iPad, the PDF file can only be displayed in NeoOffice Mobile.

So, to view a NeoOffice document in Apple's iBook app, I would recommend that you save a copy of your document in PDF format by opening your document in NeoOffice on your Mac and selecting the File :: Export to PDF menu or Export to PDF toolbar button.

Then, drag the PDF file that you saved into iTunes using Syncing and saving PDFs]Apple's instructions for syncing and saving PDFs to your iPhone or iPad from your Mac. Note: you will need to scroll down to the "Syncing and saving PDFs" section in Apple's instructions for the syncing an saving steps.

Hope that helps,

Patrick

Another option would be to use the export to ePub extension and use Calibre on the Mac and Stanza on the iPad to read the file. I tested this with a file with footnotes and while completion of the conversion caused NO to close the file created was fine.
