|
I am using Neo Office 1.1. Everytime I open the program a window comes up to downlaod a patch called 1.1-Patch-0. I downloaded it and tried patching up the application, but keep getting a message that says-You cannot install NeoOffice/J 1.1 Patch 0 on this volume. A NeoOffice/J1.1 installation could not be found in this volume's/Applications folder before you can install this patch.
I have no idea why it can't find the app. I have re-installed it twice to see if that would make a difference...it has not Any ideas folks? Using Mac G5/Tiger System. Thanks |

Most likely, you have an older Neo/J version installed. Try downloading and installing the Neo/J 1.1 release from http://www.planamesa.com/neojava/download.php and then applying the patch.

Since this is a Neo/J support question, I moved the topic to the Neo/J Support forum
Your problem is that you have installed an older version, NeoOffice/J 1.1 Release Candidate (you can tell by the About NeoOffice/J window and the presence of "NeoOffice/J 1.1 Release Candidate" in the title bar of newly-created documents). A number of CDs shipped with the 1.1 RC version shortly before we released 1.1 final.
This post explains the steps you need to take in order to install Patch-0.
