NeoOffice 1.2. Alpha ~ Patch 3 on Tiger 10.4.3
Just using the spreadsheet and noticed the menu bar redrew from 'format to help' when mouse clicking on spreadsheet from address bar and vice versa.
Had the same result with both large & small spreadsheets.

Hello again Sue Smile

This problem came up during testing of the Performance Test Patches, and iirc that Patrick noted it's caused by by annoying OOo overzealous drawing and menu updating (and seems particularly bad on 10.4.x; I really don't see it on 10.3.9).

There are a couple of other mentions of it here recently (but I can't find them Sad)....

Another thing to keep in mind is that using Cocoa in the VM adds yet another layer inbetween the actual menubar (which last I knew was implemented in Carbon) and the Java layers inbetwen the OOo layer...
