What are you going to do? (I really don't want to know, but it would be interesting...)

I would like for Patrick to enjoy the rest of his vacation and not to worry about us back here.

BTW, I got the word. I may be laid off starting sometime tomorrow. This has been coming for a while and I'm not suprized at what has happened. A bunch of the folks that I work with will be upset.

However, this will leave me time to look at the code and give me a chance to look at the fixes proposed to boost by Mox.

James, really sorry to hear this...wishing you the best in obtaining meaningful employment....

(The NeoOffice user in me is morbidly pleased with the silver lining in that second paragraph, though...sorry Sad )

That means he no longer has a job.

I was made redundant. Actually, I'm a contractor and the contract ended last month (Jan 31st). However, two of the other folks on the job either resigned or their work terminated early, so they were able to hold on to me. However, the client likes me and wants to keep me, so they are working on another contract. It is in their contracting office awaiting the appropriate signatures. Here's to a long shot hope (and prayer) that I will be working on Monday rather than sorting through source code...
