Were I a programmer (and were I able to attend said conference), I would certainly be intrigued by the subject of extending the NWF....
FWIW.

Interesting. I'll probably touch on it, but I'm not sure if it will be that intriguing. For the most part, a lot of what I tend to refer to as "extending" NWF is isolated to either implementing missing parts of NWF that the OOo engineers didn't have time to do or adding new widgets that weren't envisioned in the initial design of NWF. I guess that's probably interesting for a programmer, though

Our first conference booth schedule is now available for review (and no, it's not all at the booth in the evenings....):
http://www.neooffice.org/neocon2006/schedule/
If there are any folk here that'd like to fill in a time, feel free to ask Our main site isn't up yet since I ran out of beer, but the schedule is a start.

Will there be transcripts, video footage, etc?
I read something about an application called NeoOffice Pro in the schedule. That and some other things have shown me there is an entire world out there that I do not seem to know about .
Outreach to those of us who have to work their normal jobs during OOoCon is highly appreciated .
Best wishes,

The basic premise is that we're not going to be doing formal presentations, as Patrick mentioned elsewhere, but rather just informal gatherings at our table/booth where we're discussing the topics at hand. I'm going to call my parents tomorrow and see if I can get them to mail me my microcassette recorder to see if I can record everything for everyone who isn't there. I cleaned my desk here in Cali today and it wasn't here Thankfully some of my cassettes of cool physics lectures were, however I can't promise, but take my word, I'll do my best to get it for everyone
I totally hope to at least get audio of our thespian madness since unfortunately Jake can't be there for the unveiling of his masterpiece.

Also, for those who want to dump our schedule into iCal, the following is the direct link. You can enter this link into the sheet displayed from the "Calendar > Subscribe" menu entry of iCal to import the details:
http://www.neooffice.org/neocon2006/schedule/NeoCon2006.ics
The schedule may be changing depending on conflicts that may arise, but feel free to enable "Refresh" to our schedule after subscribing to get any time or description changes.
Any modifications we make will also immediately be visible on the HTML version of the published iCal calendar. That schedule is built dynamcally from our main iCal schedule. Mad props to the iWebCal project for providing a way to export our iCal schedule in a way that is accessible by folks who are not on OS X and can't experience the joy of networked iCal schedules. Open source truly does kick ass

Our "main" website is now available online:
http://www.neooffice.org/neocon2006/
Simple gets the job done. Hopefully I'll be able to do the podcast thing and we'll have time to do some online journals during OOoCon. If we do, I'll post links here and on that main page

Thanks Ed,
1. I did not see a link to this page from the main NeoOffice.org web page. Will there be one?
2. Typo? "and make new freinds."

Oh, the link should be in the header prior to the content, the last row of the off-purplie-barneyish color table thingy. It should be titled "NeoOffice @ OOoCon2006". If it's not showing up in your browser after a refresh please let us know. Patrick and I have been doing a number of changes to www to make it friendly for native language translations and apace may be unintentionally caching bogus pages
Thanks for finding that typo...it should be fixed now

There's still a typo on the NeoOffice homepage, "NeoOffce @ OOoCon 2006" and the same typo also appears at http://www.planamesa.com/neojava
