Greetings! I haven't posted for quite some time but couldn't help participating in the EAP. The progress is phenomenal!

One question: I think with the latest Patch (0) which I installed this morning there seems to be an annoying sound effect associated. When I am in "record changes" mode I frequently highlight part of a sentence and then press "delete". In NeoOffice 2 (non Aqua) no sound was associated with this command (I am quite certain) but now I get the "Basso" every time. Any idea how I can stop this (apart from switching all sounds off)?

Wow -- this bug is the first deal-breaking hitch I've run into with my EAP subscription through the Alphas and Betas... I'm rolled back to Beta 1 until this one gets resolved. I make a lot of errors, and having each press of the delete key announced with a sound is just too much Wink.

I am VERY glad it's not just me. For a few minutes I just thought I was losing my mind!

As always I applaud the work of the NO team, and anxiously (but patiently!) await a fix so I can re-upgrade to Beta 2.

I fixed bug 1640 this morning and released Neo 2.0 Aqua Beta 2 Patch 1. You can get the patch from the NeoOffice Early Access patch download page here:

Well, once again Patrick has excelled himself and fixed this bug barely 8 hours after it was first reported!

Damn right! You see a bug announced, traced, fixed and complimented on in the time it takes ordinary people to go to work and catch a movie.. Whomever said evolution was a slow process was ill informed.

I was afraid that the fix for 1619 had caused this Sad I reap what I sow Wink

I'm glad to see that the beeping could be suppressed without having to remove the fix for 1619 (one less IME bug we have to live with) Smile

Rock on, Patrick!
