I'm running NeoOffice Acqua Beta 2 patch 1 (but the problem was there without the patch too) and every time I open a new text document, type a single letter, save it the process goes well until I confirm the name and location in the dialogue box. After that, NeoOffice quits/crashes.

On other occasions, existing documents (even very short ones), created by NeoOffice are opened, and as soon as I change even the smallest thing, there's NeoOffice quitting.

I have a guaranteed crash whenever I open the NeoOffice Preferences pane.

I have trashed the preferences files, re-installed Beta 2, Patch 1 ... to no avail. The problem persists.

At this point I find it very hard even to do the most simple text operation with NeoOffice Beta 2; I don't know what could be interfering since the Alpha builds were crashfree for me.

I'm running 10.4.7 on PPC iBook G4 1gb Ram and still 20+ GB free disk space.

If NeoOffice is continually crashing, something is seriously wrong so please file a bug in Bugzilla and after you create the bug, attach a crash log. We absolutely need a crash log to figure out what is happening.

Report was filed under bug #1654 and has been fixed with the patch 2 used to fix bug #1652 (same bug).

I now experience no problems with saving, opening existing documents, Preferences or whatever. A charm!

Thanks a lot for the prompt replies. Your support is priceless.
