Ctrl+* in OOo selects the table in which the current cell is.
I tried Cmd+* in NO to no avail.
I tried to customize the keyboard to assign the function to this key but I found discrepencies between OOo function names and NO function names:
(from Options > Customize > Keyboard > Edit )
OOo:
Select
Select All
Select Paragraph
Select Text
NO:
Select
Select (twice...)
Select All
Select All Sheets
Select Aray Formula
Select Column
Select Data Area
Select Row
Selection List (?) |

IIRC, I think that the CMD key is mapped to the Apple KEY in NeoOffice.
Please try that (I'm away from my Mac So I can't test...)

Cmd = Apple Two names for the same key on the Mac (with a symbol for each on it, in fact).

Cmd+* is assigned to "select data area" when I check the Tools > Customize > Keyboard > Edit section but it does not work.
Specifically, the assignement is Cmd+Numpad*.
I have a MacBook linked to an external Apple keyboard and neither work.
I eventually reassigned it to Cmd+A (within Calc) and it works now.
Can I have confirmation that there is a problem ?
Regards. |

Yes, Cmd-Numpad* (or Cmd-Fn-p on a laptop) works in OOo/X11 and fails in Neo. Please file this in bugzilla.

Somewhat OT, also note that while I don't think it affects the issue at hand, there are certain keystrokes involving the Cmd/Apple key that are reserved on Macs that are not on other platforms (Cmd-Space, for instance, and other combos such as Cmd-Shift-3/4). Those will never work. OS X traps those keystrokes ane never even delivers them to any OS X application. If you have keybindings from other platforms that rely on those keystrokes, be aware that you will need to change them.
