I have a text document sent to me by an attorney. The changes tracking for the document is turned on. I cannot see the revisions and the history is empty.

The source I sent to the attorney displays correctly. The edited file returned by the attorney does not. The fellow sent me a PDF of his document and his edits show up in a gray color.

This strikes me as a problem not specific to NeoOffice, but rather a preferences issue for the attorney. I want to offer some friendly advice to him. I also thought it wise to check here just in case this _is_ related to the beta.

I would appreciate any advice, suggestions and tips this forum may offer.

TIA,

- Mophilly

I've never had a problem before with .sxw or .doc files, but some people can produce RTF files with changes in them that OOo (and Neo) can't find the changes in (AbiWord could, iirc, but had no options to confirm/reject, turn off, etc.).

What file format are you exchanging?

Smokey

No problems here. I use this feature on an almost daily basis, exchanging .doc and .odt format files. Have you tried moving your preferences aside? If that fails to resolve it you will have to look at his side of things.
