OS 10.4.8 - Aqua Beta 3 Patch 6

I'm new to NeoOffice and but for one issue, love it.

I'll be working on a word processing document and all of a sudden I lose the ability to edit the text. Can place cursor, but can't type, delete. I can select, however. I click the Edit Text button, the bar goes away - click again and it comes back, but still can't edit. I have to close and reopen before I can continue.

I know it's something simple (it always is, isn't it?), but I just can't figure it out.

Thanks,
cg
